English Description:
Beto and Bella are two Amazon macaws that have traveled far to live in southern Chile. How did they get to this place? Why did they leave the jungle behind? How were they received by Chilean animals? A moving story that shares the adversity, uncertainty, and dreams of migrants, and how through empathy you can achieve bridges of love between two worlds. At the end of the book, you will find a translation of the text in Haitian Creole. This is a gesture by the publisher Zig-Zag to promote inclusion and to the meeting between all the children to form a more welcoming society. In recent years Chile has experienced an increase in immigrants from Haiti and Venezuela, this story, while it’s about Chile, could be about so many countries that experience changes in their population from immigration.
