Teacher Comments: [2023] This started out great. I loved the "drawing come to life" part, but I think the feeling between the two characters was overdone. I agree we should validate feelings, and of course children have crushes, but again, this was too much. I kept reading even if I didn't want to anymore because I thought maybe there would be some twist on the whole subject, but that did not happen. When Ana wonders if Felipe still likes her or if he likes some other girl, I didn't feel there could be any saving the story from my dislike for it.
