El camino de Amelia

Regular price $10.95
Sale price $10.95

English Description:

This moving story begins with the phrase: "Amelia Luisa Martínez hated the roads." For Amelia, all roads represent the instability of having to move from one labor camp to another. In the midst of so much change Amelia wishes she had a place to call home. Their search for a home is a tribute to the resilience, recovery and resourcefulness that immigrant children display every day, whether when entering a new school or working in the fields. Acrylic paints on canvas add a lovely texture to illustrations.
