Teacher Comments: [2025] I think this book is good. Often, we want to use primary sources in social studies classrooms, but they are not available in Spanish because they were given in English. This makes this primary source accessible. I also like how it breaks down the speech so it is not overwhelming. I would like the binding to be better - seems like just cheap paper. Also - the book lists the the versions as inglés and Castellano. While Castellano can be a synonym for Español, it made me question if the book was in Catalan, since that is where I often hear Castellano used. | [2025] This is a book that can motivate students to understand and empower them with the current situation in the US. I enjoyed reading this book and would definitely figure a way to use it in the classroom. Students need to understand that there is hope. Even though there are mentions of God it doesn’t take away from the message of educating ourselves and to continue to fight for what is correct
