English Description:

Tomás is the son of migrant workers. Every summer he and his family travel to Iowa from Texas where they spend long and difficult days in the fields during the fruit and vegetable harvest season. In the evenings, sometimes, they get together to listen to the wonderful stories of Big Daddy, Tomás's grandfather. Over time, Tomás learns all the stories by heart. There are many other stories in the library - Big Daddy tells him. And the next day, Tomás meets the lady from the library, who opens the doors to a new world.
