Fran Nuño nació en Bilbao en 1973 y vive en Sevilla (España) desde los diez meses de edad. Es escritor, dinamizador cultural y librero-editor. Ha recibido varias menciones y distinciones en importantes concursos, tanto por su obra literaria como por su labor a favor de la lectura, ya que realiza cada temporada infinidad de actividades en colegios, bibliotecas, salas culturales... Ha sido en tres ocasiones premiado en Estados Unidos: en 2013 en Michigan (EE.UU), en 2017 en Nueva York y en 2021 en Los Ángeles. Es autor de más de cincuenta libros publicados en distintas editoriales, casi todos de literatura infantil-juvenil, y ha sido traducido un buen número de idiomas.
Fran Nuño was born in Bilbao in 1973 and has lived in Seville (Spain) since he was ten months old. He is a writer, cultural promoter and bookseller-editor. He has received several mentions and distinctions in important competitions, both for his literary work and for his work in favor of reading, since every season he carries out countless activities in schools, libraries, cultural halls... He has been awarded three times in United States: in 2013 in Michigan (USA), in 2017 in New York and in 2021 in Los Angeles. He is the author of more than fifty books published by different publishers, almost all children's literature, and has been translated into a good number of languages.
