Collection: Mariela Kogan

Mariela Kogan is a biologist, writer and oral narrator. She was born in the city of Buenos Aires. Twenty years ago she chose to move to Mar del Plata, to live near the sea. She received a PhD from the National University of Buenos Aires, she has worked in research and scientific dissemination tasks. She has published several books and currently, she carries out a prolific task of promoting reading, offering storytelling workshops for teachers, librarians, children, young people and older adults.

For several years, she has coordinated the reading workshops of the Grandparents Storytelling Program and the “Children Count” project. As a storyteller, she performs at social, cultural, and educational events. And she is the organizer of “Cuentamares”, the International Festival of Storytellers.
