Questions
Frequently asked
How is the Front List chosen?+
Every title is reviewed by our Educator Collaborative — a national network of bilingual teachers, librarians, and coaches — for cultural relevance, instructional value, and classroom fit. We reject 15–20% of titles we evaluate each year, so what makes the list has already cleared a high bar.
How often does the Front List change?+
It's refreshed annually alongside our School Catalog. This page covers the 2026–2027 edition; last year's titles remain in the full catalog and are still available to order.
Can I filter by grade level or type of Spanish?+
Yes — the live collection filters by grade, genre, author nationality, type of Spanish (Latin American vs. Spain), format, price, and year published, so you can narrow down without scrolling through every title.
Do you ship to all of the United States?+
Yes, we ship nationwide to schools, districts, libraries, and individual families.
How do schools and districts place an order?+
Contact sales@booksdelsur.com to request a quote. We accept purchase orders and offer volume discounts for larger orders — the same process we used to deliver 1.19M books to Chicago Public Schools.
Can I order through DonorsChoose?+
Yes — reach out to our team and we'll help you set up a DonorsChoose-compatible order.
Do Front List titles come as ebooks?+
Some of them may be available via the MakeMake digital platform.
Where can I see sample pages before ordering?+
Open any title in the full collection to preview sample pages and read the full description before you add it to a quote or cart.
