Fabián Rivas
is an illustrator and author of children's books. He was born in 1986 in Santiago. He studied design at the Finis Terrae University. As an illustrator he has collaborated for national media such as Diario The Mercury, La Tercera y What's up and for the foreigner as Magazine Myself from Mexico or Tarragona newspaper in Spain. He was selected to illustrate in 2017 for Santiago en 100 Palabras.
As an author of children's books, he has won two Colibrí medals, in 2017 for best book for babies and in 2019 for best book album. With Editorial Amanuta published in 2019 the book for babies, Naughty cat.
